Wellspring · Effective July 3, 2026

"Your body's story stays between you and God. Wellspring stores your data on your device — we can't see it, sell it, or share it."

Wellspring is a faith-centered cycle and wellness app for women. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens with your information. The short version: almost everything stays on your phone, and we like it that way.

What we don't collect

Wellspring is built local-first. The following never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else:

We do not run advertising, we do not sell data, and we do not use analytics that read your content. Wellspring has no server that stores your personal information.

What happens on your device

Everything you enter is stored in a private database on your phone. Reminders and notifications are scheduled locally on your device — no push server is involved. If you delete the app, or use Delete Everything in Settings, that data is gone. We couldn't recover it for you even if you asked, because we never had it.

Purchases (Wellspring Grace)

If you subscribe to Wellspring Grace, the payment is processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details. To validate subscriptions, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, which receives a pseudonymous app identifier and purchase receipt data from Apple — not your name, not your content. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's App Store settings.

If you email us

If you contact hello@wellspringapp.co, we'll receive your email address and whatever you write — that's how email works. We use it only to help you, and we don't add you to any marketing list.

Ages and young users

Wellspring is for ages 13 and up. We do not knowingly allow accounts or profiles for children under 13; the app asks for a birth year at setup and does not proceed for anyone under 13. For users aged 13–17, Wellspring automatically applies additional protections: no fertility features, age-appropriate content, and discreet notification wording by default. Because all data stays on the device, we do not collect personal information from teens (or anyone else).

Health information

Cycle information is sensitive, and treating it with reverence is the reason Wellspring exists. Because it never leaves your device, it cannot be subpoenaed from us, sold, breached from our servers, or shared with third parties — we simply do not have it. Wellspring provides wellness insights, not medical advice, diagnosis, or contraception.

Your choices

The future

If we ever add optional features that involve a server (like encrypted backup or AI-assisted prayer), they will be opt-in, clearly explained before you turn them on, and designed so your journal and prayers remain unreadable by us. We will update this policy first, and the promise at the top of this page will keep governing how we build.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and, for anything meaningful, tell you inside the app before it takes effect.
